New Orleans Saints in Los Angeles

Today, the New Orleans Saints relocated training camp to Los Angeles leading up to their second preseason game versus the Chargers. The two teams shared a field for the first of two joint practices.
The last time Saints Quarterback Drew Brees practiced with the Chargers he was on their team and the franchise was still in San Diego. More than a decade later, he’s heading the Black and Gold through camp for the 12th time as the regular season continues to draw closer.
Today’s session was the 17th practice out of 20 and there were a lot of fans out west that seized the opportunity to support for Who Dat Nation. One Saints fan said, “Want to see Drew Brees, of course. Willie Snead. We got this game-used ball last year at the Chargers-Saints game hoping to get one of the guys to sign it for her. And she’s a huge Saints fan, so this is the only time. (Who Dat! Who Dat! Who Dat say they going to beat them Saints?) She gets to see her team. “
“(And how excited are you to be here? ) Excited, really excited. (Did your teacher really let you skip school?) Yeah.” “I asked permission. I asked permission first.”
The Saints and Chargers kick things off from the Stubhub Center in LA at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
