New Orleans Saints looking to bounce back against Tampa Bay
The saying goes ‘on any given Sunday, any team can beat any other team,’ and last Sunday, the Saints figured that out in their own backyard.
The 7-1 Saints entered their match-up versus the Atlanta Falcons as 13.5 point favorites and were stunned 26-9.
Now, the Saints still sit atop the NFC South and are in the driver’s seat to win the division, but that being said, nothing is ever guaranteed in the NFL.
The Saints head to Tampa Bay on Sunday to face the Buccaneers in a matchup that has been particularly close over the last three years.
Following Sunday’s loss, Quarterback Drew Brees answered questions about concerns with the team’s performance and he made it clear that they know what the problem is and they plan to fix it. “It’s not some grand, mind-boggling, some sort of revelation here, it is simple execution. It’s just little things here and there that puts yourself into a better position to convert a third down or make a big play and then from there, create scoring opportunities, so that’s really what it is.”
