New Moss Point fire chief sworn in at board of aldermen meeting

MOSS POINT, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Moss Point has a new permanent fire chief, as David Eaker was sworn-in in front of the Moss Point Board of Aldermen Tuesday night. 

Eaker has more than 20 years of firefighting experience in the city, climbing the ranks through the years, and has served as interim chief since the retirement of Jason Davis in April. 

City leaders say Eaker represents the spirit of the fire department and has a passion for community service and supporting firefighters.
