New Memorial Clinic Ribbon Cutting

Community leaders and Memorial Hospital System representatives gathered today to cut the ribbon on a brand new medical facility.
The goal of the addition is to provide an extension of services that have not been available in the area before now. Memorial’s new physician’s clinics will now be able to provide oncology care, chemotherapy treatment and will host both general and neurosurgeons. The new facility is also home to a wing dedicated to pediatric care.
President and CEO of Memorial Hospital Gary Marchand spoke with News 25 about what this expansion means for the community. “This new expanded location is going to expand our capability to care for cancer patients, both clinically and for chemotherapy infusions. Also, general surgery as well as neurosurgeons will be seeing patients here. We provide a lot of the services for the entire county. We started this process three years ago as we followed the population. We want to provide the care where they live.”
The clinic is located on Tommy Munroe Drive near Cedar Lake Medical Plaza.
