New Life Family Church serving breakfast to Harrison County teachers
New Life Family Church in Biloxi is wrapping their arms around teachers as the new school year starts.
Partnering with Chick-Fil-A, New Life Family Church is feeding breakfast or lunch to over 600 Harrison County school teachers and administrators.
Today kicked off day one of back-to-school outreach, this morning at D’Iberville High School, church members lined up to serve, pray, and encourage teachers as they prepare for the first day of school.
Tomorrow, the church will be serving teachers at D’Iberville Elementary, D’Iberville Middle, and Old Woolmarket Elementary.
On Wednesday, lunch will be served at North Woolmarket around noon. Lead Pastor Jeremy Ulmer said, “With all the uncertainty that’s going around, we just wanted our teachers to know that there’s a church family that loves them, that supports them, that is praying for them. This week during their in-service time, we are just making sure we will be on five campuses this week feeding teachers to make sure that they have a good start to their day. We want them to know that we are praying for them.”
This is the inaugural Back to School Blessing the church is hosting and with the positive response, they look forward to serving again next year.
