New information released on international drug ring tied to the Coast

Officials with the U.S. Attorney’s Office held a news conference in Gulfport this morning to release new information about an international drug trafficking investigation.
The first case started with a traffic stop here in Mississippi in 2013. That stop led to the discovery of a drug ring selling synthetic drugs, also known as spice or bath salts. According to officials, they were delivering these products by commercial parcel delivery services.
News 25 will bring you the latest from this morning’s press conference during our newscast at 5:30.
