New indictments against Mobile man accused of killing Biloxi woman

The Mobile District Attorney’s Office announced three new indictments against murder suspect Steven Mason, who is accused of killing 24-year-old Biloxi native Ke’Lei Morris in 2015.
According to Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Wright, Mason asked another man to kill three witnesses that would testify in the trial for Morris’ murder. Mason remains in Mobile County Metro Jail since his March 20th arrest. He now has no bond.
The DA says Morris and Mason were both nurses at Mobile Infirmary Hospital. Morris was a St. Patrick and University of South Alabama graduate. She was found shot in the head in an apartment complex in February of 2015.
Mason originally told police he knew the women, but denies killing her.
