New flea market benefiting Make-A-Wish opens in Gulfport

A new flea market has arrived on Pass Road in Gulfport and it’s all for a good cause.

For $10, locals can sign up and sell their goods. This flea market will be available for the rest of the month just in time for Christmas shopping.

There is everything from plants, clothes, and even comics for sale. The Make-A-Wish Foundation is getting the community involved with a raffle and prizes to win.

All proceeds and donations go to make a child’s wish come true this holiday season. Make-A-Wish Representative Ashley Hallahan said, “We are trying to get donations. We have a raffle basket going which has a handbag, a Swarovski crystal necklace in it. So, for a donation of a dollar there’s a raffle that you can be draw in to and that will go ahead and benefit all of the students or children in the local community as well. They are really deserving and have gone through a lot that most of us have never endured.”
