Navy chief selects car wash

The initiation process for the new Navy chief selects at Keesler Air Force Base has begun.
Saturday, they hosted a car wash in the parking lot of Baja Beach Restaurant in Biloxi. This will be the first of many fundraisers put on by the chief selects as they begin to raise money for many of their upcoming events.
One of the events that they are raising funds for is their pinning ceremony once they finish their training. Senior Enlisted Leader Tony Mazzulo said, “There are several things that we have to pay for throughout the season and it also helps build team work. They learn how to work and communicate, get advertising out there and talk to the other chiefs and get the local population and the civilians involved in what they are going through in their process as well.”
The pinning ceremony for the chief selects is being planned to happen in September.
