National Vietnam Remembrance Ceremony
We here locally aren’t the only ones honoring Vietnam War Vets.
This morning defense secretary ash carter and veteran’s affairs secretary Robert McDonald laid wreaths at The National Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington.
The event is part of a 13 year ongoing commemoration to mark the 50th anniversary of the conflict that started in the late 50’s and ended in 1975.
After the ceremony was over defense secretary carter and the VA affairs secretary met with veterans.
