National Signing Day at Ocean Springs

Today in Ocean Springs, nine student-athletes signed to play a sport in college.
Football, cross country, boys and girls soccer were all represented. Highlighting the class of 2018 is standout cornerback Malcolm Magee, who signed his national letter of intent with Colorado State.
The star Greyhound tells News 25 his recruitment process was a challenging one, but he’s sold on what Colorado State has to offer out west. “At first, I thought it was going to be easy after December 20th, then it got a little harder on me. Schools started coming in, home visits, and more offers started coming in. After a while, I narrowed it down to two then it got easier on me. Now, it’s Colorado.”
Magee’s other top choice was Louisiana Lafayette. He admits he’ll be homesick for a while, but he’ll be just fine.
