Murder suspect was suspended for threatening school last year

New developments tonight in the investigation into Darian Atkinson, the accused killer of Biloxi Police Officer Robert McKeithen.

He allegedly threatened to shoot up Biloxi High School after the Parkland school shooting on Valentine’s Day of last year.

Biloxi NAACP President James Crowell tells our media partner the Sun Herald that his goddaughter was threatened by Atkinson after discussing the Parkland shooting.

News 25 first reported last year that Atkinson was suspended for three days after making a threat to the school.
