MSDH reports 577 cases of COVID-19 and 24 deaths

Today MSDH is reporting an additional 577 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 24 deaths.

Five of these deaths occurred between February 19 and February 23. An additional 19 deaths occurred between January 13 and February 20, identified from death certificate reports.

Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases is now 789,056, with 12,008 deaths.
