Vancleave Teen’s Prelim Hearing Monday

The Vancleave teen accused of beating his cousin to death is scheduled to have his preliminary hearing on Monday.
Nineteen-year-old Dexter Kelley is accused of murdering his 16-year-old cousin Cliff Allyn back in April. Allyn was reported missing after he was last seen with his cousin. His body was found in the woods behind his grandmother’s home the next day.
Kelley is being held without bond after County Court Judge Larry Wilson previously stated there is evidence to suggest he is a danger to the community. If convicted, Kelley faces up to life in prison.
