Moss Point Tigerettes take on Macy’s Parade

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York is a holiday tradition for millions of families and the world famous Rockettes won’t be the only ones high kicking at this year’s parade.

The Moss Point Tigerettes have been invited to march in this year’s parade. The dance team is currently raising money to make the trip possible and they need your support! The group will be hosting their second fish or chicken plate dinner fundraiser this Saturday at 9 a.m. in front of the Shopper’s Value on Telephone Road.

All the money raised will go towards helping the Tigerettes shine on a national stage. Tigerette’s Team Captain Camarion Bradley said, “We’re on the Gulf Coast and we’re a small city. So, a big city like New York asks us to go to the Macy’s Parade, I was really excited when we got our postcard about it because we work very hard for what we have done. The only thing that we have been to that’s close was the New Orleans Parade. So, we’re going to the Macy’s Parade. It’s gonna be very exciting.”
