Moss Point Residents Petition for a City Manager

Many Moss Point residents are demanding change after the way the city handled the recent investigation and termination of former Police Chief Art McClung.
Eager for change in leadership, residents wasted no time putting together a petition to change the city’s form of government. They will take that one step further when those residents will meet at 6 tonight at the Rotary Club in Bellview.
At least 1,200 signatures from registered voters are necessary to help make the change toward a city manager format.
Some residents are in favor of the change and say that drastic times call for drastic measures. Others feel a change is unnecessary.
