Moss Point Mayor Mario King set to plead guilty in wire fraud case

Moss Point Mayor Mario King will plead guilty in a federal court in Gulfport, Wednesday February 24^th.

Mayor King and his wife have informed the prosecutors of their intent to plead guilty in a federal case accusing them of wire fraud and conspiracy charges.

A federal grand jury indicted the Kings last June on 13 counts of wire fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit fraud.

Mayor King has not returned our requests for comment.
