Moss Point man faces multiple charges

Moss Point police arrested 42-year-old Jimmy Lee Shoemaker after a victim filed a report for alleged stalking.

Police say Shoemaker made threats to cause bodily harm to the victim. The investigation also showed Shoemaker caused damage to the victim’s vehicle.

An arrest warrant was issued for felony malicious mischief for damage to the vehicle and an additional charge of bribing a witness after he contacted the victim and offered financial compensation to drop the charges.

Shoemaker is also facing charges of stalking and leaving the scene of an accident.
