Moss Point Board of Aldermen meeting

The Moss Point Board of Aldermen held its regularly scheduled meeting tonight and took no action on the motion to reinstate the mandated policies and take away 15 percent from the mayor’s salary.

The policies were implemented last year. The lack of action caused the policy to be omitted and Mayor King’s 15 percent cut was reinstated and he will receive back pay as well.

This comes after the January 7^th meeting where the board voted three to two to reinstate the mayor’s pay. However, all board members were not represented during that meeting.
