Mock Drunk Driving Crash

With prom coming up this weekend at Stone High…faculty members wanted to show students the dangers of drinking and distracted driving.

Eight students were involved in the scene some were critically injured and others did not make it.
Over 300 juniors and seniors watched the demo outside as their fellow classmates were carried out in stretchers or body bags.
Organizers of the crash tell News 25 they wanted the students to see how drunk and distracted driving not only affects the people involved but loved ones as well.

The number one killer of teens from 16 to 20 years old in the US is car crashes.
Mississippi is 5th in the nation for how many teens we lose in car accidents.
