Mississippi State Super Regional bound

Number six national seed Mississippi State rolled through the first two games of the Starkville regional before taking down Miami 5-2 on championship Sunday.

That makes the Diamond Dawgs four for four on Super Regionals since the Hit King of the Southeastern Conference Jake Mangum showed up at MSU. “I mean I like to think I helped but it took a team effort all four years. Freshman year we were loaded, big leaguers all over the field. Sophomore year was Brent Rooker’s historical year. Junior year was a crazy ride and this year it’s just gone really smoothly all year. It’s been a crazy four years, but that’s because of the boys in the locker room, that’s not just me. But it’s awesome, and look to keep going and staying hot.”
