Mississippi State Department of Health reports 862 new COVID-19 cases and six new deaths

The Mississippi State Department of Health is reporting 862 new COVID-19 cases and six new deaths.

The statewide total now stands at 103,681 confirmed cases and 3,080 deaths.

Here are the numbers for our area:

• Hancock County has 672 cases and 25 deaths.
• Harrison County has 4,300 cases and 79 deaths.
• Jackson County has 3,956 cases and 74 deaths.
• Stone County has 416 cases and 13 deaths.
• George County has 860 cases and 15 deaths.
• Pearl River County has 990 cases and 54 deaths.
