Mississippi Seawolves return becoming reality

If you build it, they will come is a concept that certainly worked in the Field of Dreams and it’s also working out pretty well for Biloxi Pro Hockey and the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.

At this point, the return of the Mississippi Seawolves appears to be imminent and it has everything to do with the fans.

Last month, two of the three neutral site games played in Biloxi set attendance records for the Federal Prospects Hockey League without even having a home team to root for.

Now today, Coast Coliseum Executive Director Matt McDonnell posting on Facebook, “We are getting closer to finalizing the deal to bring hockey back to the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.”

He goes on to say “Your support for the three neutral site games in December made this a top priority for the Coliseum team. While it’s cold now, the ice will be even colder come October. Stay tuned Seawolves fans, howling practice starts now for the 2022-23 season. It will be here before you know it.”
