MISSISSIPPI PRIMARY: Voter Registration Deadline Quickly Approaching

The state’s August 6th primaries are just around the corner and the voter registration deadline is quickly approaching. If you plan to vote in the Mississippi’s August 6th primary election, you have less than two weeks to complete and return your voter registration application.

Registration deadline is Monday, July 8th.

Circuit Clerk’s offices will be open Saturday July 6th from 8 am to 12 pm and on Monday July 8th, open until 5 pm to accept in-person applications and to receive applications sent by mail, which must be postmarked no later than July 8th. Absentee voting for primaries began yesterday.

You can vote absentee if you’ll be away from your county of residence on the August 6th primary election day, are disabled, or over age 65.
