Mississippi Primaries

Polls opened bright and early this morning for our state primaries and voters were out from the get-go. All day long voters will cast their ballots for who they want to see represent their party in November’s general election. Poll workers are seeing larger than usual turnout at the polls due to how popular this election and the candidates have been.
Voters News 25 spoke with this morning say they feel it’s important to exercise your right to vote to have a hand in picking who makes crucial decisions for our country. Voter Billy Walls said, “I always vote but this is really important. This has to do with the future of our country and you can’t complain if you don’t vote so you got to get out and vote today. Go, let’s go, y’all get out of your chairs, get out of your bed and go vote. You got all day and it’s very important that you do that.”
Polls close at 7 p.m tonight.
