Mississippi Gulf Coast Pan-Hellenic Council hosting virtual voter education forum

If you still have questions about the voting process, absentee or early voting, and what’s all on the ballot for this year’s election, the Mississippi Gulf Coast Pan-Hellenic Council will take care of it.

They’re hosting a voter education forum Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. via Zoom. The webinar will feature panelists such as Biloxi City Councilman Felix Gines and other community leaders in South Mississippi.

Common questions for voters will be answered and discussed by the panel.

The forum is all about making sure locals understand the voting process and learning about the different things on the ballot before going to the polls. National Pan-Hellenic Council President Bernard Williamson said, “Voting. There’s a lot of things about voting we just don’t know. That’s what the Pan-Hellenic Council is trying to do with this forum. We think we got some great people that can come and share their knowledge and their experiences about voting.”

You can register for the webinar by going to the Mississippi Gulf Coast National Pan-Hellenic Council’s Facebook page.
