Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College named finalist for 2027 Aspen Prize
Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College is once again earning national recognition.
The Aspen Institute has named MGCCC one of the nation’s top ten finalist for the 2027 Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence, considered the highest honor for community colleges in the country.
This marks the second time MGCCC has earned the top ten for this award, continuing a streak of national recognition for student success.
The college was selected from more than 170 applicants nationwide and will now undergo an onsite evaluation this fall.
The winner of the Aspen Prize will be announced in April 2027.
