Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber hosts “Navigating Insurance in a COVID-19 Environment”

Despite the Coronavirus shutting down businesses across the country, the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce found a way to continue to help the business community.

A top concern for many people right now is insurance policies, including cyber insurance as more people work remotely and have questions on how to use their policies in the best and right ways.

While members and residents can’t network physically, they can still network and learn virtually. If you have any questions on navigating insurance in the COVID-19 environment, you’re invited to ask the expert. Katie Weldon with the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce said, “One of the many questions we are getting is about cyber insurance. Do they need cyber insurance and the business interruption insurance? So, this is mainly geared toward small businesses who might have questions about that. So, that’s why we’re so thankful for Angelyn to come talk about all these things, what you need to know, and maybe some things you need to be thinking about in the future when we actually can return to the office and take a look at these insurance policies more in depth.”

Medical coverage and workers compensation are also on the agenda for discussion. The virtual event will be held on Zoom Thursday, April 16th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. A live question and answer session will be held at the end of webinar.

To register for this event and to stay updated on any future chamber events go to the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.
