Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting

Today around 600 people gathered at the Beau Rivage for the annual Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting.

During the meeting, the gavel was passed down from Ryan Giles to Kathy Springer. The former president also spoke about all of the exciting things that happened in 2018, like the fact that nearly 30,000 people attended chamber of commerce events.

They also discussed some exciting things that will come in 2019. Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce CEO Adele Lyons said, “Well, last year the chamber held 192 events. I think you’ll see similar this year. We have something for everyone and every type of business, large or small. We have events morning, noon, and night that includes professional development, some networking, just a whole host of things so there is a place for every business in the chamber and we hope they can find that place.”

The Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce also announced Dick Wilson as their 2019 recipient of the Pat Santucci ‘Spirit of the Coast’ award.
