Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers purchase two more kiosks

The Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers purchased two additional community and crime fighting kiosks with an anonymous donation.

After the ribbon cutting for the first ever kiosk in the state at the Biloxi Walmart, an anonymous contributor made it possible for two more.

According to Lori Massey, coordinator for the Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers, Representative Felsher from Biloxi, who is also on the board of Crime Stoppers, took it upon himself to find a donor for the new equipment and was found successful.

The kiosks have important features for members of the community such as information on road closures, weather reports, and also public service announcements. “They are doing that all over the Coast. We cover seven counties so we are hoping that with these three kiosks that we will be able to cover a larger area so Walmart shoppers will be able to view these.”

The two kiosk will be placed at the Pascagoula Highway 90 Walmart and the other one will be at the Gulfport Highway 49 Super Walmart.
