Million Dollar Job Fair took place at Edgewater Mall this afternoon

At Edgewater Mall, the Million Dollar Job Fair happened today between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Over 30 companies on the Coast were looking to hire and fill positions for jobs. A variety of different types of positions and career fields were there to choose from like fast food, health care, law enforcement, hospitality, and much more.

Most companies were hosting interviews for people who walked up with their resume and others hired for certain positions on the spot. Golden Nugget HR Specialist Miranda Newman said, “We’re looking for people who are just really eager to get in, get their hands dirty and who are just really passionate about what they do, anybody really that can just step in adapt really easy, adapt really quickly and that are just good people. Back from the pandemic it’s been really hard on everybody and we just want to make sure that people are coming in, they feel welcome, they feel appreciated.”
