Military training continues tonight in Moss Point

For those who live in Moss Point, military training will once again be taking place in part of the city tonight.

From 6 to 11 p.m., the Marine Forces Special Operations Command will run drills in the area of Elder Ferry Road and Highway 63.

They’ve been doing these exercises since Saturday night and the training will run through Tuesday night.

If you hear gunfire and loud noises in that area tonight and tomorrow night, it’s just an exercise.
