Midway Spring Fair
Over the weekend, many people had their fair share of cotton candy, funnel cakes and fun as the Midway Spring Fair wrapped up Sunday at the Coast Coliseum.
Some took advantage of the $20 unlimited ride wristbands, riding attractions like alien abduction and the tornado. Locals got their money’s worth attending the fair, especially since there was no gate fee.
News 25 caught up with kids attending the fair who talked about some of their favorite rides. Mirror Maze Expert Faith Ponte said, “The mirror maze because it’s very confusing and it’s pretty hard to get through.”
Tilt-a-Whirl expert Alice Ponte said, “I usually do that ride a lot and it’s really fun, It just keeps twisting and twisting and twisting.”
This second weekend of entertainment at the coliseum was originally unplanned, but thrill seekers lucked out due to a cancellation on the fair’s end.
