MHP investigating fatal single-vehicle crash on I-59 in Pearl River County
PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that happened on I-59 in Pearl River county on Thursday morning.
According to MHP, a vehicle was traveling south on I-59 around 6:00am when it ran off the road and overturned. The agency says the driver received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
MHP has identified the driver as 35-year-old Britney Kennedy of Picayune.
This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
