MGM Park to host potential playoff games due to Hurricane Irma
The 2017 season is over for the Biloxi Shuckers, but it may not be for MGM Park as Hurricane Irma continues to pose imminent danger to the state of Florida.
Today, Southern League officials announced the relocation of the divisional series between the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp and the Pensacola Blue Wahoos. That’s only for games four and five if necessary which would be played at MGM Park on Saturday and Sunday.
Both match-ups are set for 1:05 p.m. first pitch with general admission tickets going for $10. All net proceeds will go towards the hurricane relief effort.
