MGM International Impact Week

Today Beau Rivage employees volunteered their spare time to support a good cause, packing backpacks for the Bay Area Food Bank.
MGM Resorts Foundation granted $10,000 to Bay Area Food Banks Backpack Program. The program provides meals on the weekend when school meals are not available to meet the needs of children struggling with hunger. Today 2,500 bags were packed for children in need in Mississippi.
This is all part of MGM International’s ninth annual Impact Week, a week set aside just for giving back to the community. Beau Rivage Corporate Social Responsibility Specialist Angel Helgeson said, “Truly in the title, impact is what we really want to see. How much can we really make an impact? We’re just very happy to be able to do this. We’re a large corporation and we really take it as a responsibility to reach out and see what kind of difference we can make.”
Today’s donation provides enough food to support 80 children in the Backpack Program throughout the school year.
