MGCCC men’s and women’s tennis preparing for nationals

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College is sending both men’s and women’s programs to the NJCAA Tournament in McKinney, Texas.

With the exception of a singular regular season loss to Jones College, both the Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs went undefeated against teams from Mississippi leading up to the Region 23 Tournament.

The men ran the table en route to the Region 23 title and the women came up just short to Jones once again in the title match.

Either way, they both have the chance to bring home a natty later this month. Both have six of their nine players hailing from the six coastal counties.

Both teams are 14-5 overall.
