MGCCC game vs. Co-Lin postponed due to COVID-19

Just two games into its six game regular season, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College is already victim to a postponement due to COVID-19.

Thursday’s homecoming game against Copiah-Lincoln has been moved following Co-Lin’s suspension of all football activities for two weeks.

The game has since been rescheduled for November 19th and the Bulldogs will keep their October 15th date open, despite efforts to try to schedule a different opponent.

Last week, the MACCC voted to extend its season by a week, giving teams extra room to make up games at the end of the season, pushing the championship game back to December 5th.

The MACCC is the only junior college league in the country playing football in the fall this year.
