Mental Health Association South MS hosted free health and wellness fair

This morning, Mental Health Association South Mississippi hosted a free Autumn Health and Wellness Fair at the Orange Grove Community Center.

The fair was a free morning of networking, learning about agencies within the community, and enjoying door prizes.

People stopped by each vendor and learned about housing programs, workforce development, physical and mental health resources.

CTA provided transportation for anyone needing a way to get to the health fair. Mental Health Association Director of Programs Kimberly Barta said, “Stress and anxiety is out there. So, it gives people an opportunity to come in and find resources within out community that can help them with that, but not only that, can help with food, medical, health, any other resource that you can think of.”

Mental Health Association of South Mississippi provides resources and support services for those seeking mental wellness and recovery within our community.
