Memorial Hospital offering 2nd dose of COVID-19 vaccine by appointment next week

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV) — Memorial Hospital will offer the second dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine for all patients contacted by Memorial Hospital who received their first dose vaccine on Jan. 7 and Jan. 8, 2021.

To receive the second vaccination, patients must have scheduled an appointment with a Memorial team member via the COVID-19 Hotline (228-867-5000).

Patients need to bring a photo ID and the vaccination card from first dose.

Appointments will take place on the following dates and locations:

• Thursday, Feb. 4 at the West Harrison Civic Center – Espy Center (located at 4670 West Espy Avenue, Long Beach) from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• Thursday, Feb. 4 at the D’Iberville Community Center (located at 10452 Lamey Bridge Road) from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• Friday, Feb. 5 at the D’Iberville Community Center (located at 10452 Lamey Bridge Road) from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• Friday, Feb. 5 at the Stone County Medical Center (located at 1440 E Central Avenue, Wiggins) from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
