Memorial for BJ Brown

Family and friends are gathered tonight, remembering the man who drowned in a Hancock County lake last month. Right as the memorial celebration got started, an unexpected surprise arose in the sky.
Not just one, but two rainbows appeared right above the lake where the body of the Stone County man was found. Brody ‘BJ’ Brown was reported missing last month the night of a concert at Muddy Joe’s RV Park in the Kiln. Family and friends had a memorial fundraiser at the park, complete with a volunteer performance by the band Autumn Rise-N, drinks, a lantern release and a late night ride.
Best friend of BJ Brown Jennifer Howard said, “We’d like him to be remembered as a loving husband, son, friend, hard-worker and the best dad you could have.”
Friends who attended the memorial service tell News 25 the rainbows may have been a sign of Brown being there with them tonight. Muddy Joe’s RV Park also had a marble bench built in memory of Brown.
