Matt Luke’s recruitment pitch lands with Harrison Central OL

When Bryce Ramsey made his verbal pledge to Ole Miss on Wednesday, the Harrison Central offensive lineman did so with a great deal of confidence.
After his official visit last weekend, he’s already certain that Oxford is the right place and Matt Luke the right coach.
It really is a match made in heaven with Ramsey wanting to stay at the center position in college. That’s where Coach Luke lined up during his playing days with the Rebels, who are getting a home grown 6’3”, 340 pound, three star recruit.
From Red Rebels to just Rebels, Ramsey is carrying the pride of the Magnolia State on his back at the next level. “Coach Luke when he’s all about, he kept saying Mississippi made. Like we have all these athletes in Mississippi and they’re going out of state. I love Mississippi. I love to play for my home state, and I want my mom to come see me and all my family to come see me every home game so it’s a little close. We both know how it is in the trenches and getting rough, some people like they don’t really talk that much about us but we still keep working and keep pushing forward.”
Ramsey has officially shut down his recruitment, passing on other offers from Southern Miss, South Alabama, Memphis, Alcorn State and Jackson State.
