Massage Parlor Remains Shut Down

The investigation into human trafficking that allegedly took place at a Jackson County massage parlor continues.
The business, JJ Spa Massages, remains shut down nearly three months after authorities raided it and arrested two people on prostitution charges.
Jackson County District Attorney Tony Lawrence tells News 25 he hopes the temporary injunction that is preventing the parlor from re-opening will become permanent, as the criminal investigation continues. “We’re dealing with that, trying to shut this business down to where that will cease to exist. We know there are other complaints too, on human trafficking and we take them very seriously. We’re going to investigate them and if we can prove our case, we’re going to go after those doing it,” said Lawrence.
The Jackson County’s Sheriff Office, the FBI, Homeland Security and a number of other law enforcement agencies raided the massage parlor on November 18th of last year.
