Market Street plans are put on hold in Pascagoula

Tonight the Pascagoula City Council reviewed and discussed the design options for Market Street and came to the conclusion that the plans must be put on hold.
The portion of Market Street up for discussion is from Polk Avenue to Ingalls Avenue. The city would need about $30 million to go through with the plan to upgrade infrastructure in the area.
Mayor Maxwell says he will continue to work on his relationship with the White House to assure Pascagoula gets the funds needed to go through with the project.
