Mark Everson Drops Out of Presidential Race

After months of campaigning, a Gulf Coast resident who made his bid for president is dropping out of the race. That’s according to the Washington Post.
News 25 has been following Republican Mark Everson since he announced his plan for the 2016 nomination earlier this year. As the pool of Republican candidates has multiplied since then, with the likes of Donald Trump and Jeb Bush, Everson just couldn’t make the political waves, despite having spent about the same amount of money and even more time compared to some others. Everson says he got off to an awkward start but got better at campaigning along the way.
While he garnered strong support from voters, particularly from New Hampshire, he just couldn’t seem to get the attention from national media.
