Margaritaville master plan moves forward
Today, during a Biloxi Planning Commission meeting, the board voted unanimously to move forward with the Margaritaville master plan.
During the meeting the Lodging & Leisure Investments Leadership went before the board to present how phase two and three of the plan would tie into the existing property. Phase two is the outdoor attractions and food trucks. Phase three includes the second, 300 room hotel tower equip with convention space, retail space and more restaurants.
Vice president for Lodging & Leisure Investments Cono Caranna says this will bring a different element to the coast.
“Adding something where families can come have a good time and not be in only the casinos with your family. It just has another option and hopefully and it has made people stop here instead of going to the panhandle or going somewhere else,” says Caranna.
The next step for the master plan is to get approval from the city council.
