Mardi Gras Museum Update

The Mardi Gras Museum in Biloxi has plans to let the good times roll at a new location soon.

The City of Biloxi will enter into a lease agreement for a new, unnamed restaurant to operate at the Magnolia Hotel. The hotel is currently closed due to the refurbishing of the Mardi Gras Museum.

Jordan Nicaud will be in charge of the new restaurant, now owning eight food locations on the Coast, including spots like Bacchus on the Beach and Fill-Up with Billups.

The new restaurant and the museum will attract tourists to Biloxi as well as create new revenue for the city. Vincent Creel with the City of Biloxi said, “It creates commerce downtown. It’s a new attraction. So, we think there’s a lot of excitement whenever we can open up these older buildings for public use.”

The City of Biloxi has not confirmed where the new location for the Mardi Gras Museum will be at this time.
