Mardi Gras and Mimosas fundraiser benefits Boys and Girls Club

Fat Tuesday may be in the rearview mirror, but the good times continue to roll all the way into March as the Boys and Girls Club raised money for a good cause.

Mardi Gras and Mimosas was the theme of this event. The fundraiser supports the Boys and Girls Clubs along the Gulf Coast to provide more youth programs.

The brunch featured a raffle, food, and bottomless mimosas. The celebration also included live music from a New Orleans based jazz band as well. Emily Sham with the Boys and Girls Club said, “So this money kind of, they’re able to do whatever they want in the four clubs across Harrison County. So, we service the Harrison County board. So we have the Biloxi unit, we have the IP Center unit, 19th Street and Forest Heights, so all four of the clubs will benefit from the money that we have raised today.”

The proceeds will offset cost operations at the clubs, providing more fun activities and mentorship for the youth.
