Man Suspect in Ocean Springs Assault Turns Himself In

A man hunt is now over in Ocean Springs after the suspect in an assault turned himself in.
A separate suspect was arrested earlier today in that case. Captain William Jackson says it all started at an apartment complex, where the victim refused to allow one of the suspects to borrow a pick-up truck. Police say 40 year old Lee Major Johnson allegedly struck the victim in the face with an ax handle after the victim pulled out a knife and threatened Johnson.
Johnson is charged with aggravated assault and is being held at the Ocean Springs Jail.
43 year old Charles Burns turned himself in just before 5 o’clock today.
