Man sentenced to seven years for felony DUI

A Gulfport man has been sentenced to several years in prison after pleading guilty to his seventh DUI.

John Langston, 50, has been sentenced to seven years to serve without parole for felony driving under the influence on August 16th, 2017.

Langston was driving west on Highway 90, going 61 in a 45-mile-per-hour zone. When officers pulled him over, they could smell alcohol in the vehicle.

Langston refused all field sobriety tests that night, but at his guilty plea, Langston admitted to consuming six beers before getting behind the wheel that night.
